We offer our employees numerous opportunities aimed at promoting an active lifestyle and healthy competition, stimulating their interests and leisure activities, and strengthening their relations with the Group.
The ‘POLSAT Biega’ team of runners was active last year, participating in a number of running events, including the 8th Warsaw Half Marathon, the 35th Warsaw Marathon, and the 6th Marshal Race, as part of which the 1st Polsat News Championship was organized. The Cup for both races went to our colleague from the Cyfrowy Polsat IT Division.
In addition, both companies have assembled strong volleyball and football teams. In 2012, the Cyfrowy Polsat team joined the PlayVolley business volleyball league. We are also represented in the Let’s Go business football league, with Polkomtel and Cyfrowy Polsat competing in the first and second leagues, respectively. Our employees have formed several other sports sections, including trekking and tennis clubs at Polkomtel and a cycling team at Cyfrowy Polsat.
Events for our employees are a permanent fixture in the corporate calendar. We provide our employees with a variety of events, offering educational and cultural activities, as well as pure entertainment. Polkomtel and Cyfrowy Polsat employees enjoyed leisure time with their families in the Warsaw Zoo on Children’s Day, learned about their colleagues’ interests during interactive painting, paragliding, modeling and nutrition workshops organised as part of the Knowledge Picnic event, and had the opportunity to try their hand at extreme sports under the guidance of professional instructors or attend special training sessions held by the Volunteer Water Rescue Service and the police during the Extreme Sports Children’s Day. On Santa Claus Day, we organized a meeting with Santa in an entertainment park, a special performance of ’Aladyn Jr’ at the ROMA Musical Theatre, as well as a unique ballet performance of the ‘Swan Lake’.
With the support of our employees, their passion for personal growth and willingness to help, we successfully organize various interesting events, such as Polkomtel’s Family Picnics and Open Day events for Plus employees, which focus on new products and services and are organised together with Plus Partners. We have also assembled a Medical Rescue Team.
